About Data Management Platform
The registry for surveillance cameras was the vision and brainchild of our client, who is associated with a law enforcement agency. It’s a revolutionary web application that can be described as a database for security cameras, CCTV systems, doorbell cams, and any such system capable of recording video footage.
Public users can use this registry to list their security and CCTV cameras and play their part in making the community safer. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers can use the listed information by public users to solve their cases faster. This registry comes with four user profiles: Admin, Officers, and Public Users.
Client’s Requirements
A law enforcement agency faced challenges in collecting evidence for neighborhood crimes, especially in locating nearby surveillance cameras. To address this, the client envisioned a cost-efficient, mobile-friendly web application serving as a centralized digital registry. This registry would allow public users to list their security cameras with minimal information and provide law enforcement officers with access to locate available cameras in specific areas.

View all the registered cameras and their locations as pins on the map. Tap the location pins to directly identify the public user and access their listed camera details.
Mass Communication
To broadcast important information related to new updates and happenings send mass emails to the platform users. Platform users include both public users and officers.
User Activity Logs
Track and audit user activity irrespective of the user type. Track updates made by public users and public data accessed by the officers.
Province Management
Effortlessly add, edit, or update province details and their designated domains on the platform to ensure precise geographical coverage.

View camera locations as pins on the map and access the address and user details directly. It’s a shortcut for officers that gives them a list and details of all the cameras in a setting.

Access public users’ and officers’ complete domain-specific registry, including their listed information. Additionally, manage, add, and update domain-specific provinces to ensure complete region coverage.
Bulk Address Import
Import multiple user addresses in bulk directly from the interactive map. This will help save time and gain access to details of all the cameras present in a particular setting of interest.

Smooth Password Recovery
Considering the importance of CCTV registry for law enforcement agencies, this is a provision to recover and change passwords with email-based OTP verification effortlessly.
Secure Registration & Login
The registry offers stringent security measures such as a 2-step authentication process and email-based OTP verification to avert data breaches and unauthorized access.
